On our Community field trip, we walked the city streets.
We went to the Post Office.
We learned about mailing and mailed post cards back to ourselves to see how it worked.
We got to have a look behind the scenes. We saw where the mail came in and saw the people sorting the mail.
We talked about why the library exists and what people do there.
We played a buzz-in game to identify different community helpers.
We played games downtown before lunch.
Duck. Duck. Duck. GOOSE!
At Seeds, Meraiah and Levi held a tarantula. We learned that lots of insects and animals act like community helpers when it comes to nature!
