After we looked at art by Jackson Pollock and Jen Stark, we took turns splattering paint onto paper to use for our Christmas tree art project.
Here are the menorahs we made.
Jacquie, Alanie, and Larry gave a winter performance with their friends in KidZNotes. They did such a great job!
We acted out the Las Posadas tradition with the other kindergarten and K/1 classes.
We knocked but were turned away.
Finally, we came and sang some carols together before moving on to the piƱata outside!
We (the kids and Creamsicle) had snack. Creamsicle had a mouse. We had string cheese.
Our last day with Laura consisted of Dress-up Day, gingerbread houses, the las posadas celebration, lollipops, and feeding Creamsicle. We love and miss you, Laura! Have fun in Texas!
We found a big woolly caterpillar out by the back door a few months ago. We researched what sort of moth it might turn into (a Giant Leopard Moth) and built it a habitat.
It burrowed into the substrate, made its cocoon, and emerged!
Here are the spiders we made from our spider unit. We'll be sending these home soon!
Here are our award winners for the past couple of months. Congratulations, friends!
We found evidence of winter!
Eymon attempted a snow angel!
Happy birthday, Levi!
Happy birthday, Jacquie!
Happy birthday, Isau!
